FESTIVAL OF CHARIOTS 2026 EVENTS
Requirements
- Full-day commitment: travel to Tampa, participate in the parade, and return the same day
- Devotional, neat, and attractive attire
- Able to walk the full parade route of 4.5 miles
- Youth-only participation in the parade except for a limited number of adult chaperones
- Besides Festival of Chariots volunteers and chaperones, 5 additional adult chaperones may attend to help distribute candy.

A maximum of 70 youth may participate. All registered youth will receive a wristband and must stay with the group and follow parade guidelines. This is not an open Rathayatra procession, but a public parade so this event is not open to anyone except registered participants.
“Snana Yatra” literally means “bathing festival” in Sanskrit. At this festival, the deities of Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra, and Subhadra are ceremonially bathed.
3:30 pm Gather with the Deities from M. Yadunandana’s home (behind Bhaktivedanta Academy) and bring Them on a short chariot procession to the temple
4:15 pm Arati and kirtan
5:00 pm Special class on Rathayatra
5:15 pm to 6:30 PM Prasadam feast served
6:00 pm Bathing of Lord Jagannath, Baladev, and Subhadra

Festival of Chariots is bringing 40 youth with our Jagannath Deities and Rathayatra cart to take part in the Springtime Tallahassee Grand Parade. We warmly invite youth from the Krishna community to register and join us for this special opportunity.
